Bandsintown Launches Exciting New Social Features, Giving Touring Artists Innovative Ways to Better Engage with 23 Million Concert Goers

NEW YORK, NY (March 8, 2016) — Bandsintown, the premiere destination where artists and fans connect, has introduced two new features allowing concertgoers and their favorite artists to interact even more easily through the Bandsintown Concerts and Manager apps.

Artists can now send customized messages to all of their trackers which can be viewed through the app's activity feed. From the studio to the road to the merch table, touring artists can update fans on new albums, announcements, concerts, or simply say "We Love You Guys!"

Additionally, fans can now Track (follow) artists on Bandsintown with one click directly through artists’ websites – and without redirecting users to a separate site or social network (much like a Facebook’s Like or Twitter’s Follow).

All an artist needs to do is grab the code here and drop it into their website backend—Bandsintown will do the rest.

This is all in addition to Bandsintown Concerts’ recently released activity feed, where the app’s millions of users can see just-announced concerts, and what their friends are planning to attend.
