Marvel Entertainment Partners with Cellfish for Marvel’s The Avengers Live Wallpaper Android App
April 30, 2012 – Marvel Entertainment, LLC, one of the world’s most prominent character-based entertainment companies, has teamed up with Cellfish, a leading mobile and social application developer, to launch an Android personalization app based on the upcoming film based on Marvel’s Avengers characters. “Marvel’s The Avengers” Live Wallpaper, is now live in the Android store timed in anticipation of next week’s theatrical release of “Marvel’s The Avengers”. Just as “Marvel’s The Avengers” on the big screen brings together many of Marvel’s film and comic heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and Hulk, so too does the Cellfish app bring these favorites directly to fans’ Android phones.

The freemium version of “Marvel’s The Avengers” Live Wallpaper app features the Super Hero team’s iconic logo displayed against an animated backdrop with lighting, smoke effects, and sky movement, with fun options like a “screen crack” message and call alert. Premium versions allow users to add all of the Avengers characters to the scene, as well as unlock individual character wallpapers and ringtones of audio clips from the film.
